Many people don’t know that I’ve retired from 30 years of working in Hospital Pharmacy. Now being in the medical profession would not seem to have much of a link to Astrology, but I have a different opinion on this.
Most of my time was spent in Surgery Pharmacy… Yes, the Surgery department had their own Pharmacy and we were responsible for making sure the staff had all the medications to do the daily Surgeries. Besides inventory control, we prepared IV Antibiotics, dispensed Narcotics to Anesthesiologist and made Cardio solutions for Perfusion Pumps for Open Heart surgeries.
On the weekends I had the opportunity to work in the main Pharmacy which included making rounds delivering medications to various units in the hospital.
So what does this have to do with the Full Moon?
During that time, the Mom/Baby, Labor and Delivery as well as the Emergency departments were unusually busy. In fact it was not unusual to walk through and hear comments like; “It sure was busy last night, was it a Full Moon?” or “Do we have enough staff scheduled in the ED next weekend? You know it’s a Full Moon and people get crazy!”
As an Astrologer, I just smiled and strolled on. But what I want to mention here is, the Moon phases control the oceans tides. Does it not seem logical that our bodies, being mostly water, would experience this ‘pull’ as well?
In Astrology the Moon rules the Zodiac sign of Cancer. As with the other water signs, (Scorpio and Pisces) Cancer is not only very intuitive, but emotional as well. So it’s no wonder the medical profession would ‘feel’ the impact of the Full Moon’s ‘pull’.
As always, we all have choices… React, Respond or Appease. But knowing the approaching Celestial Energies gives us a pre-warning helping us make those choices!
